For the instructions below, USERNAME is the FTP username found in your cPanel FTP Accounts section.  Like info, sales, fred, sally, etc.

Anywhere you see YOUR_DOMAIN, replace it with your domain and extension. Like frammer.com, whistlebit.info, etc.

  1. Download and install CoreFTP on your computer if you haven't already done so.
  2. Open CoreFTP and click on the "Site Manager" button in the main window.
  3. In the "Site Manager" window, click on the "New Site" button.
  4. Enter a name for the site in the "Site Name" field.
  5. Enter the following information in the "Host" field: ftp.YOUR_DOMAIN
  6. Enter the following information in the "Username" field: USERNAME@YOUR_DOMAIN
  7. Enter your FTP password in the "Password" field.
  8. Select "FTP" as the protocol and enter 21 in the "Port" field.
  9. Select "Normal" as the login type.
  10. Click "Connect" to connect to the FTP server and finish setting up the connection.

These steps should help you set up your FTP connection. If you encounter any issues, please let us know and we will do our best to help.
